my personal feelings as I reach my final year
This year will be my final year in my primary school. I will be taking my PSLE in less than three weeks time. I fee so anxious :-(

continuos writing
You were walking home from your grandmother’s house when you heard a faint sound coming from somewhere near you. What did you do? What happened in the end?
"Meow...Meow..."the cat meowed.
I was walking home from my grandmother's house when I heard a faint sound coming from somewhere.The sky started to turn dark.Immediately,I ran towards the sound.I saw a cat stuck was he drain.
Seeing that the cat was stuck and the rain was soon going to pour,I carried the cat on land and into the shelter.Its legs were cut and had bruises.I felt pity for the cat.Just then,I saw bolts of lightning cracking through the night sky.Then,it started to rain heavily.
I carried the cat back home.When I reached home,my mother saw the cat and asked,"Why did you bring that cat back home?"
I related the whole incident to my mother.After listening,she decided to bring the cat to the vet.After the rain had stopped,my mother and I brought the cat to the nearby vet.The veterinarian told us that the cat would be treated and we could bring it back home at the end of the day.
In the evening,my mother and I went to collect the cat.My mother decided to keep the cat as she felt sorry for it.

Swimming
Swimming is one of my favourite hobby. I love to swim as it helps to keep me fit. I have been swimming for at least five years. I am happy when I am attending the lessons at Orchid Country Club. I would attend the training for at least three times a week
Yesterday, my club had a time trial. Most of the swimmers participated in it. It was a 200metres time trial. I decided to swim 200 metres breaststroke and 200m IM . I teamed up with Carissa, Emma and Ruth for the events.
The swimmers swimming butterfly went first, follow by the backstrokers, then the breaststrokers, the swimmers swimming freestyle. Lastly, swimmers who are swimming 200m IM. I swam a timing of 3:31:29s for breastroke and 3:36:27s for 200m IM.
I am satisfied with my timing because I had improved a lot. I hoped that by the next time trial, I will be able to swim faster than the timing that I had now.

A year end dinner celebration
Yesterday,my sister and I went to attend a year end dinner celebration.It was an exciting day as we played many games. Before we started playing the games,we were divided into five groups.They were red,green,purple,pink and blue.I was in the red team while my sister was in the green team.The team members whom were in my team were Fu Kang(the team leader),Alexandra,Felicity,Rachel ,Crystal,Fu Liang,Magon,Daniel, Dianne and Sean.
The first game that we played was "choose a "mummy".We were supposed to wrap up the "mummy".All of us chose Dianne as she was the shortest and the easiest member to wrap of all. I ,Rachel and Magon helped to wrap up Dianne.After that,I ,Rachel , Daniel ,Alexandra and Sean filled up the plastic bags which were meant to be the water bombs.Later,Alexandra ,Fu Kang and Daniel threw the water bombs at the other four groups.Our defender,Sean and Fu Liang tried to defend the water bombs.The "mummy" in blue group which was the least wet was the winner.
Following up next was "eating a dangling apple".Alexandra represented the team to eat the dangling apple.After she had ate to the Coral,Rachel and Fu Kang drank the 1.5litres of water.Then,the rest of the team members filled up the sponge with water and passed it down to fill up the water.The group which filled up the bottle first will be the winner.
After that, we ate birthday cakes as it was Grace's birthday.Her mother had prepared some cakes,sandwiches and drinks for us.Due to the lack of time, we were only able to play one last game after the short break.we were supposed to enter the water.We were supposed hold to tennis ball with a partner without clutching onto the ball and kick for 15metres.Then, kick back. The first team that finishes will be the winner.
Soon after we have finished playing,we went to shower and went to the function room.We ate as we had our lucky draw.We also played some games called musical chairs and passing the rubber bands.My group collected 6 rubber bands and came in third.
It was time to go home. We left Orchid Country Club tired but happy.

Malaysia
My family was going for a short trip to Malaysia.It was a 3-days trip.On that morning, we have our breakfast at the coffee shop before setting off to Malaysia.We were living in a hotel named AFamosa.
It took four hours before we reached AFamosa.When we reached our destination,we went to the reception counter to and some tickets to enter.Then, we took a rest in the check-in to the hotel. We also got some tickets to enter the attractions in Malaysia. In the evening,we decided to go to the cowboy town.Inside, there were some performers singing. Then,we went to watch the 4D movie first. It was very scary because tilted left and right and some clean water splashed onto my face. Then, we watched the carnival show.There were some people blowing the fire and executing them by putting it into the mouth and cut off their oxygen.At the end of the show,there were fireworks.It was late at night and also time for us to return back to the hotel.
The next morning, we went to zoo.At first,we wanted to sit on the bumpy car but my sisters were scared so we did not. Instead,we walk around and saw chickens kept in the cages.My sister also fed the sheep. She was told to go inside the pen but did not because she was scared . Instead, she stood outside to feed them. In the afternoon, we went to water world.We rented two boats for twenty dollars.We sat on the lazy rivers and my father pushed us.
The sun is setting. we then went back to the hotel. We checked out of the hotel the following day and went to Sutera mall to shop.After that, we sat in the car, went back to Singapore happily.

hit by the swing
Whenever Joei walks past the open field,it would remind her of an accident where it all began with her carelessness.
"Ouch!My head hurts!"Joei exclaimed,seeing stars.
A few minutes ago,Joei,the only girl staying at home,felt bored and decided to play at the newly built playground near her house.She asked two of her friends,Jessica and Clarice along.
Joei went to the playground and sat on the swing. Her two friends followed.Not realizing that their short-lived happiness was soon going to turn into screams of horror,they continued to play happily.Joei had learnt some tricks and wanted to show her friends.She swung as high as she could."Come on,both of you,why do you want to swing so low?Swing higher,higher than what you always did!"Joei taunted them.
All of a sudden,Joei lost her balance and went flying through the air,landing with a loud thud.The momentum of the swing did not cease.It sent the seat of the swing swinging wildly and hit the back of Joei's head.Suddenly,everything went black before Joei.Blood oozed out of Joei's head and she bled profusely.Her fall had attracted quite a crowd.Some onlookers stood rooted to the ground.One of the onlookers immediately dialled "995" for the ambulance.
Minutes later, wails of siren could be heard.The red and white vehicle and it revolving light became clearer.When the ambulance arrived at the playground.the paramedics wasted no time carrying Joei onto the stretcher and pushing her into the ambulance.More blood oozed out of her head.Joei still did not regain her consciousness.
As soon as they arrived at Singapore General Hospital,the paramedics pushed Joei into the emergency room.Hours passed.Joei was still in the emergency room.One of the nurses called Joei's parents.Her parents arrived and Joei was pushed out of the room.
When Joei woke up,her parents asked her if she was fine.Joei related the whole incident to her mother."I finally understood the meaning,'Once bitten,twice shy'.Lesson learnt-never to boast about anymore."Joei mumbled under her breathe.She vowed never to let history repeat itself.

a car accident
Whenever Mr Tan looks at the stars that are twinkling in the sky, he would be reminded of the day he lost his son,Ryan.
Ryan was a boy who loved outdoor activities. There was a newly built park opposite his house.One cloudy Monday afternoon,Ryan was having a school holiday. Mr Tan had taken a one day childcare leave to accompany his son.He decided to bring Ryan to the park to play.
Upon reaching,they saw a funfair.Ryan asked his father if he could bring him there.His father agreed.Mr Tan went to join the queue for the tickets to the funfair and told Ryan to keep himself occupied.
Ryan roamed around the park.It led him to a lonely road.There were no cars.Ryan stepped onto the road.Just then,Mr Tan had bought the funfair tickets and went to search for Ryan.Mr Tan saw Ryan standing on the road.
Just as he wanted to call for Ryan,a motorcyclist,driving at a very fast speed,saw Ryan but could not stop in time.Ryan was knocked down and his forehead was bleeding profusely.
Immediately,Mr Tan took out his cell phone and dialled for the ambulance.Wails of sirens could be heard within minutes.Soon,the red and white vehicle could be seen.The paramedics rushed down from the ambulance and wasted no time carrying Ryan onto the stretcher.His heart was pounding very quickly as his dear son's life was in danger.
The paramedics tried to stop the bleeding but to no avail.When they arrived at Singapore General Hospital,Ryan was pronounced dead.
Mr Tan was so sad that he walked back home sobbing.From that day onwards,he decided to use the stars that were twinkling in the sky to help him think back of his son.

陌生人
一个凉风习习的星期天早上，爸爸妈妈都到附近的巴刹去买菜。只有我一个人在家。“叮咚！叮咚！”突然，门铃响了。我走到门口，看见一位陌生人手里拿着一个蛋糕。她面带笑容地问我：“小弟弟，请问你的妈妈在家吗？我是送蛋糕的叔叔。你可以开门让我进来吗？”他一说完，我就立刻开门，让他把蛋糕拿进来。
这时候，陌生人把绳子拿出来。然后，他把我的双手绑起来。接着，他就开始在整间屋子里东翻西找。结果，橱里的一些贵重的手饰和钞票都被他偷走了。
他把偷来的东西放进袋子里，慌慌张张就跑了。这时，刚好有两位警察在组屋楼下。他们看见陌生人手里拿着袋子慌慌张张地跑着，他们连忙追上前把小偷捉住！
当爸爸妈妈回来时，我把事情的经过一五一十地告诉他们。他们狠狠地把我教训了一顿。我强忍着泪水，半天说不出一句话来。经过这次的教训以后，我再也不敢乱开门让陌生人进来了。

A meaningful trip to Underwater World
Everyone would love to have a chance to be able to have an overnight camp at the underwater world.I have experienced this before,sleeping in the tunnel in the middle of the night.
Everything started on a Friday afternoon.My friends and I assembled at the foyer at 4pm sharp.The bus would be moving off at 4.15pm.We were very excited and kept on chatting.It was an hour trip there.When we reached there,there was still some time left.So,we were given free time to walk around to explore.
Then, we were led to a room.The facilitators were very nice.They introduced some fishes that we would be seeing during our trip.At the same time,we were told about the exit route plan.We were soon splited into three groups led by different facilitators.My partner was Chloe.We went to the tunnel first to look at the different fishes.Then to the different parts of the place.Before we slept,we were formed into nine different groups.Each group was given a quiz paper.The group that finished the paper in the shortest time and with the most mark would get a prize.After that,we went to bath and ate supper.We were also given free and easy.
The lights went out. It was time to sleep. We slept in the chill and icy tunnel. I wrapped myself up and was still feeling tired.The next day,we rolled up our sleeping bag and went to brush our teeth.We had breakfast.This is the most exciting part of this event and it was that we went to the dolphin lagoon.We managed to touch the seal and saw the dolphin doing different types of tricks.It was such a meaningful event.
Oh1How time flies.Two days had just gone and it was time for us to bade good-bye.We left Sentosa having a clearer picture of how fishes are and at the same time leaving there having a good impression.

It was a dark and stormy night.Kevin tossed and turned in his bed.Try as he might,he could not sleep.Suddenly,Kevin heard footsteps.He decided not to bother about them and continued trying to sleep.Just then,he heard the shattering of glass.Kevin decided to go to the main door to check who it was.
Kevin saw a shadow outside the house."Could it be a burglar?"Kevin thought to himself.He opened the door and switched on the light.He found out that it was his father standing outside the house when he suddenly dropped his spectacles.
"Wake up!Kevin!"shouted his mother."Oh!It was just a scary dream.Father is still sleeping.Silly me!"Kevin said to himself.

Farmer Li
"Wow!It's a treasure chest.I can't believe my eyes!"thought Farmer Li.
Farmer Li was a poor man living in a hut covered with straws.He would wear the same attire everyday and sit by the door looking at the trees and bushes.
One day,Farmer Li was digging the soil when he noticed something hard.He continued digging and found out that it was a chest.Farmer Li opened it and saw that there was a lot of gold inside."Wow!It's a treasure chest.I can't believe my eyes!"thought Farmer Li.At the same time,he was feeling shocked.
Farmer Li went to exchange the chest of gold into money. He built a house made of bricks,bought new attires for himself and grew some vegetables.From that day onwards,Farmer Li enjoyed a life of richness.

就在这时候，小明读完书了，他想去换另一本书。可是，他怎么找也找不到。小明走到小华的房间，看见他正在拿起一把剪刀，准备剪东西。小明怒气冲冲地走到他的面前。小明发现小华准备剪的东西是那本他从图书馆借回来的书。小明连忙把那本故事书抢走。

April's fool day
"As a punishment for all of you,you shall stay back after school and write me two compositions each.Hand them to me by the end of the day,"said the principal angrily.
It all started early in the morning.Almost all the students in 5Z were in their class looking at the calendar."It's April's Fools Day!" Mary shouted.
"Why don't we exchange the teacher's chair with the broken one?"suggested Ryan,who was the playful of all in the class.
"OK!OK!"everyone agreed.
They decided to play this prank on their form teacher, Mr Lee as he would always give them lots of homework even though it was teacher's or children's day.Tommy volunteered to help them.
"Ring!!Ring!!...."the bell rang.It was recess time and everyone in 5Z rush down to the canteen without getting the music's teacher's permission.They ate hurriedly.Knowing something bad was going to happen,they rush back to their classroom again after eating.All the pupils in 5Z were already settled down even before the bell had rang.
Tommy went to change the teacher's chair with the broken one.Once changed,he quickly walked back to his seat."Ring!!Ring!!..."the bell went again.When Mr Lee walked into their classroom,he was shocked to see what was happening.Usually,the class would take their own sweet time and walked back to class but they did not did it on that day.
Mr Lee cautiously walked into the class checking if there was anything above his head.He finally walked to the teacher's table.He sat down and on the floor he was. The whole class burst into laughter and giggles.Just then,the principal walked past.She was dissatisfied with the class.She immediately walked into the class and said," As a punishment for all of you,you shall stay back after school and write me two compositions each.Hand them to me by the end of the day.This punishment will tell you to consider before doing anythings."
"It's April's fools day and the principal would not let us do anything to the teacher,"mumbled John under his breath. "Lesson learnt-never play any pranks on the teachers again."

michael birthday
Michael woke up with a huge grin on his face.It was his eleventh birthday! He wondered what presents his parents would give him.Michael immediately went to brush his teeth and shower.
After that,he went down for his breakfast.Michael had expected his parents to wish him a happy birthday but they did not.Michael felt sad and disappointed.Usually,the talkative boy would talk a lot at breakfast but he did not do so on that day.
After breakfast,Michael walked back to his bedroom.Just then,his mother opened the door for his friends to enter his house.Michael was thirsty,so he went down for a cup of drink.While he was pouring the cup of water,"Surprise!Happy Birthday,Michael!"he heard someone shout.Michael turned over and saw his friends.The birthday boy was happy once again.His parents walked over to him.

"Aah!Aah!"shouted Mrs Lim's daughter she cried.
It all started on a Saturday morning.Mrs Lim entered the lift with her daughter and a young man and an old lady.When the lift was at the seventh floor,it started jerking.And......stopped!
The young man who was a technician told them to stay calm. Mrs lim's daughter started shedding tears.She had not have any experience of having lift break down before.They young man pressed the emergency bell.Mdm Ong who was living on the seventh floor walked past and heard it.She immediately took out her cellphone and dialled for the technician.
Minutes seemed to be like hours.At the eleventh hour,the technicians finally arrived.They knocked against the lift door and shouted,"Is there anybody inside?"The young man shouted back yes.They took out the tools to open the lift door.

Forgetful Fred
It was Mother's day. Fred elder sister,Jane, wanted to prepare a scrumptious meal for Mother.Just when she was about to cook, she realised that she was short of oil.
"Fred! Could you help me go to the nearby supermarket to buy a bottle of oil?"she asked politely.
" Em...OK."Fred said reluctantly.
Fred thought that his sister was always bullying him so he reluctantly stomped his feet on the way to the supermarket. Along the way,Fred met his friend,Tom. Fred related the whole incident to Tom. "Just ignore your sister and come play with me!"Tom said
Fred thought that it was a good plan so he went to play with Tom. They wanted to play on the swing but a little girl was playing." Get off you this little girl or else we will bully you!"
The little girl listened and obeyed their instructions.
When the sunset, it was time to go home. Fred went home empty-handed.Jane scolded Fred severely and was disappointed with him for not being able to complete such a simple task. Upon reflection, Fred immediately ran to the nearby supermarket and bought the bottle of oil for her sister.

Mischeivous John
"Help me!Save Me!"shouted John.
A few minutes ago,John and his parents,Mr and Mrs Lim brought John out boating because he had passed his examinations with flying colours. When they reached the middle of the sea,Mr Lim handed Mrs Lim and John each a life jacket.
As John find wearing life jacket was very troublesome,he threw it overboard lifting his legs as well. Mr and Mrs Lim were busy wearing their life jacket and did not notice what John was doing.
"Splat!" they heard a loud splash.
Mrs Lim's face turned as white as sheet when she saw John struggling in the water. Mr Lim told himself to calm down. Mr Lim have a phobia of water but when he saw John struggling he immediately jumped into the sea and pulled John back into the boat safely.
Once aboard,Mrs Lim fetched each of them a towel to dry themselves. Mr Lim's face turned as red as a tomato as he was very angry. He gave John a tough scolding. Mr Lim also threatened to confiscate his remote control toy car that was given to him as a reward for doing well in his studies.
John regretted misbehaving.

caught in the rain
The pitter patter of the drizzle acted as a prelude to the heavy downpour.I regretted not listening to my mother to bring an umbrella along with me before I left for school. I ran back home as fast as my leg could carry me.
The road was slippery and I was running at a fast speed. So, I tripped and fell. Blood started oozing out from my knee cap at once. With much difficulty, I limped home slowly, every step a piercing ache.
When I reached home,my mother saw me drenched. She asked me to sit on the chair while she fetched me a towel. Then,my mother bandaged my knee cap for me. The next day,she brought me to the nearby clinic to see the doctor. the doctor prescribed some medicines for me.
From that day onwards, I always brought an umbrella along with me wherever I go.

A day at the old folks' home
Last week, Mrs Lim brought the 3B pupils to the old folk's home. When they reached there, the nurses introduced the students to the elderlies. The students were also given some duties to do.
The students chatted with the elderlies while doing their duties.They found out that some of the elderlies were very pitiful because their kins abandoned them and left them there. Their class monitor gathered of them and discussed how to make the elderlies happy. The class monitor suggested to put up a performance. This had actually brought smile to the elderlies. After that, it was tea-break and the boys help to serve food to the elderlies. The girls help to clean up the room by mopping the floor, changing the bedsheets and blankets.

My playful pet dog
Mary has a mischievous dog named kitty. Last Thursday,Kitty was dirty and smelly after a tiring morning walk, Mary showered Kitty in a tub. While Mary was lathering shampoo for Kitty, a cat appeared from the back of the garden and meowed loudly at Kitty. Kitty got excited , leapt out of the tub and chased after it.
This created a mess because the tub had overturned and water in the tub spelt all over the floor. Mary cleaned up the mess and went searching for kitty. After half an hour of searching, Mary found kitty near the backyard.It was barking loudly at the cat on top of the tree.
Mary sling kitty up and brought it back home.

The filial brothers
Both Tom and John were filial brothers. One early morning,they were eating their breakfast when their mother told them that she was going to the market. After eating,they felt bored. Tom suggested,"Let's play computer games.”"Why not we help mother to do the house chores?” asked John. Both of them agreed to John's idea and started work.
Tom clean the window and wipe the table while John swept the floor and arranged the books properly. By the time they finished cleaning, the house was neat and tidy and sweat were trickling down their foreheads. Afterwards, John and Tom went for a bath before going into the study room to do their homework.
When their mother reached home,she was surprised to see the living room spick and-span and knew that John and Tom had did it especially for her. Later,she went into the study room,she was even more satisfied to see her two sons doing their homework. She told them,”What an obedient brothers!”

changing of places
The secondary one,secondary three and university one students of three schools are going to change places for the following CCA.(badminton,art and table tennis) This three levels will have to go through a test and it will be held on different day and different timing. The test will only start inApril.
I think that giving the better sports in CCA to have a good environment and more facility is what they deserve. Why do they deserve it? Because they had worked and trained very hard for the school to win a trophy or medal. Even though they had the chance or opportunity, they should not try to tease their friends but continue to work hard and show their school that what they have given them is a better place for them to work.

Comcare fund is a commitment from the Government to do more for needy Singaporeans, to ensure that no one will be left behind. The government of Singapore put up $7700000 for applications last year and $5100000 had been used.
33000 people applied for the comcare fund last year,most of them came from single income family with monthly pay less than $1000. Successful applicants received money from the funds and opportunity to attend classes on learning how to manage their finances.

Chinese new year is round the corner.Singapore is going to clean it's merlion at Sentosa because it has been 4 years since it was last cleaned.The merlion is 34 metre tall and it will take a total of two hundred and forty man hours to clean it. Workers need to put on harness while cleaning the exterior of the merlion.
It is important to keep our merlion clean because it is Singapore's iconic symbol. This will also give tourists a good impression of Singapore.

Chinese New Year
This year, our country, Singapore will extend the new year celebration from Chinatown to Singapore river to let all the Singaporeans as well as local visitors and tourists be able to see it. This new year celebration will last for 3 months 7 days.
Why is it so that it is a must to celebrate Chinese New Year for all Singaporean? It is because that we can welcome a new year again. Lee Hsien Long estimated that 200 thousands people will be at the Chinatown or Singapore river, fireworks will be put out on that day as well. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long will officiate at the opening ceremony of lighting.
I feel that it is a very good idea of starting a new year in this way. As a prime minister,he did play his parts by lighting at the opening ceremony. To make sure that we also play a part,I think that we should also turn out on that night.

Some business men have arranged a bun-making activity for elderly in the old folk's home. They have engaged chef to teach the elderly how to make “xiao long bao”, a small steamed bun with minced meat filling. They were making “xiao long bao”to welcome Chinese new year.
It is a very good form of exercise for the elderly because it trained their hands ,ears and eyes coordination. It also brings happiness and liveliness to the elderly.

health check screening at taman jurong
Two hundred and fifty medical and nursing students from the national university of Singapore started a health check screening event for elderly residents of Taman Jurong.
Some students went around the neighbourhood to gather elderly residents to do their health check screening while the others station themselves at the station to help conduct the health screening. This event will last for three months. They are doing this to help the poor and elderly so as to alert them of their medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes.
This event is a good way of helping the poor as they do not have money to visit doctors. I hope to see more Singaporean doing this meaningful event.

Today evening,I went for a swimming class. The expectations by the instructors were very high.
I was huffing and puffing rushing so that I can cope up with the others swimmers as well. Due to that they were swimming very fast,I did not really manage to cope up with them. Then,it was the twenty-five metre sprint. I had the fastest timing.
I learnt that it does not matter if you win or lose but what really matters is that you have tried your best.

standing in front of the class
Today,I was standing right in front of the class telling them about the leaf that I found. I was the first few to introduce.
I told them,”I found this leaves in the car park near my house. This leaves come from Senegal mahogany. It is one of the top ten known well tree in Singapore. The tree is always straight and has a large bushy crown. The upper side of the leave is dark green while the underside of the leave is light green. We classify this as a leave because it has leave veins,leave blade,leaf stalk.”

A day eating outside
This afternoon,Mother brought me to the coffee shop near my house to eat as she will not cook because daddy is not coming back home for dinner tonight. Also,she was scared that there will be a lot of leftover dishes.
When we reach the coffee shop,I ordered a plate of rice plus some food while mother ordered a bowl of laksa. Halfway through eating, we felt thirsty and ordered Sprite. Afterwards,we went to Sheng Song and bought some things that mother needed for cooking tomorrow.
Soon, it was almost two o 'clock. I suggested of going to Coffee City to fetch my second aunt but she said that it was too early. So,we went back home carrying lots of plastic bag.

A Pe lesson
This afternoon,we played some maths games in the class after we have completed our journal. Everyone enjoyed very much because we even had points system. My group won the most number of points.
Afterwards, we had PE. My PE teacher is Mr Suhadi. He played with us lots of games and we enjoyed ourselves very much.Like folding a rubber band into balls and ice and freeze. By the time we had finished playing,our face were red and filled with perspiration.
We change into our school uniform. We were so hot that we do not even feel like changing. At last,we finished changing and we went to have our lunch.

first day at school
Today was my first day in school. It has been a long time since I ever went to school. When I was in school,my best friends told me jokes and that makes me even want to go to school. When I was at home,I miss my best friends as they had always been good to me and make me laugh.
My younger sister is studying in the same school as me. She is primary one this year. I hope that she can enjoy herself for the first few day together with her friends,teachers and buddies. I wonder how she feel when she step into the school?Anxious,scared,happy or excited?
Mother told me this afternoon when I came back from school that she woke up early in the morning. I thought that I have warned her to wake up late as she could not sleep in the school but she did not listen. I bet she must be feeling excited!

a day at tampinese giant
Yesterday,my parents took me,my elder sister and my two younger sisters to Tampinese. When we reach there,we could not find any parking lots. After five minutes of waiting,a man finally drove his car out. Father park the car and we enter into the shopping mall.

The holiday camp mystery
This story was written by key words reading scheme. The character in the story are the foreman, two boys, Simon and John, Tom and Jane. Their father and mother are also in the story.
The story started something like this. The foreman was telling Simon and John about the new construction work that was going on this few days. He showed the two boys around the construction work places. Suddenly, they found a tunnel but they did not know where did the tunnel links to. The foreman went into the tunnel and used the torch to shine onto the wall. He spotted nothing. The two boys wanted to go into the tunnel to take a good look but the foreman told them that he would like to speak to their father before letting them going into the tunnel. Their father told him that if the renovation is done and it is quite safe, they may go in. After the renovation was done ,they could go in and they went right deep into the cave. They slowly go to each of the open cave. When they went into the last cave,they saw steps continuing. They followed after the steps. Finally, it led them to the other island of the construction work. Over there,they saw someone following after them. John shouted took chase and they ran after him. They slowly walk down the steep hill and saw themselves back on the construction side. Then,the man that was working took a heavy wood and covered it. He used a lock and locked it so that nobody could enter. The boys are the only one who have the key. They decided to bring their cousin for a look. When it was done,they pitched a tank. John found a man moving a boat,carrying a few large boxes. He decided to inform the police plus his father. The police found some investigation and knew who they were. After that ,they caught the thief. They took their cousin to the swimming pool and started splashing everywhere. They had a lot of fun.
That was the end of the story!

The brave firemen
Last night,a fire broke out at Bishan,near block 433.The firemen wore their orange fire-proof uniform and arrived there as fast as lightning.
On reaching,they jumped off the fire engines.A fireman knew that the people inside the shop houses needed help so he climbed onto the ladder.Inside the shop houses,he saw a girl named Lingli.The firemen carried the girl and was brave enough to jump down while the others were directing the water hoses towards the fire.The reporters had came to the scene.They were taking pictures at the burning shop houses and the injured.
After a few minutes,the ambulance arrived.They brought Lingli to the hospital while the firemen were still putting out the fire.The ambulance brought Lingli to the nearby hospital.
There,the doctor examined Lingli.He said that she was all right and had prescribed some medicines for her.Meanwhile,the doctor told her that he would call her mother while she rested on the bed.Lingli's parents got the call and rushed to the hospital.
They were happy to see her safe.

a soccer match
It was a Saturday morning.Yishun Primary and Kranji primary were competing against each other.
It was an intense moment as time was running out.Two boys then started running after the ball.
While kicking the ball, they collided into each other.The defender was still kicking onto the ball even though they had collided into each other.
The defender pushed the striker away.The striker dropped onto the grass and was groaning in pain.The referee called the First Aid Unit.They hurry over to examine the striker.They found out that he had twisted his ankle.They took him to the nearby hospital.The defender visited the striker at the hospital.the defender had brought a basket of fruit for the striker.Defender apologised to the striker and gave him a ''Sorry'' card.The striker forgave the defender and they became good friends.

An exciting adventures
It was an afternoon.My eyes were drooping close when my father suggested of bringing us to IMM.It was then that my eyes brighten up.
we then went there by car.My father drove us there.when we reached there,we went to the Popular.I bought a recorder while my younger sister bought a yoyo.the,we went to "World Of Sports" to buy a sport shoe for Clarice.After that,we wanted to go backhoe.So we pressed onto the lift buttons.Once we went in,we did not know that Cherry was not in.After a whiled , my mother realised that Cherry was lost,so she pressed onto the lift panel.when we reached to the ground floor,I saw her running about so I ran towards her.She was terrified hat she cried so loudly.

This afternoon,I will be going to the National Library Board(NLB) for an important session. I will have to attend this session to improve my composition by listening to my Chinese teacher,Madam Koo Hue Ling. She will be teaching us how to write our compo better than others and look at each picture carefully.
After that,she will let us each have a piece of paper and we will write down one moral sentence that we are able to use it in our compo.
Finally,we will get to ask her question and she will answer to us. I cannot imagine how fun was it going to be!

my favourite fruits
My favourite fruit is apple.An apple contains vitamin C.
I like to eat apple because it is sweet and tasty.I have also heard of a phrase that says''An apple a day,keeps the doctors away''I think that this phrase might be true as eating an apple a day is healthy.
When I look at an apple, I thought that when an apple has white plus red , it will be tastier but I was wrong.My friends told me that the redder the apple is , the tastier it will be.
There was a time when I ate an apple at night,after that,I wanted to sleep but I could not sleep well.I was tossing and turning around on my bed because I kept coughing.It was a tiring time for me to sleep.

Festvals
Singapore is a multi-racial country with many different races and religions.So,we speak with variety of languages and celebrate different festivals and cultures.The few main festival that we always celebrate are Deepavali,Chinese New Year,Hari Raya,Christmas and Vesak.
Deepavali is for Indians.The Indians will always go to their temple to give them greetings.
Chinese New year is for the Chinese.The Chinese will go to their grandparents house in traditional clothes and say"Gong Xi Fa Cai,"which mean wish them good luck.
Hari Raya is for the Malays.The Malays will do the same as the Chinese.Malays will put the grandparents hand in front of them and their head bent down.This is a kind of greetings they do.

One day,Mrs Tan went to the popular bookstore to buy some stationery.She heard the information announcing that a boy was lost.
When Mrs Tan walked to the next section,she heard that a boy crying.Mrs Tan walked towards him and asked why he was crying.the boy told Mrs Tn that he was lost.
Mrs Tan brought him to the information counter at level one.the lady at the Information counter told the parents of the boy to come to the information counter.The parents and the boy felt grateful to Mrs Tan.

He dreamt that he was calling his mother after school to seek permission for lesser homework.His mother ordered him to go home immediately.When he reached his house,mother was holding onto a cane deciding to whack him.John ran as fast as he could,trembling with fear,because mother looked very fierce.While he was running,mother was behind chasing.
John thought bout all those scary moments.He was so scared that he woke up with fear and continued to do his work.

One fateful night,an old lady was at the ATM machine withdrawing some money.Immediately,after she took her money,two snatch thieves went to snatch the stacks of fifty-dollar notes from her.The old lady started screaming at her top of her lungs.I heard it and turned towards the direction of the scream.I saw two people running,one with a bag in his hand.The hysterical old lady managed to calm herself enough to call the police.
I quickly gave chase,following the thieves into the car park.
They got on the motorcycle and started the engine.Suddenly,idea struck me.I grabbed the can oil lying around me nearby and ran towards the exit to pour the oil.The two snatch thieves saw what I was doing and tried to stop their motorcycle .However,they were moving too fast.The motorcycle spuned crazily out of control and skidded of the road.The thieves fell off the motorcycle;end were lying there unconsciously.
Just then,the police arrived.They apprehension the unconscious thieves.The old lady's handbag have been retrieved.I was praised by the policeand told that my brave deed would be reprted in th news.I was proud of myself.

It was a late night.Two burglars managed to unlock the door and sneaked into the Lim's house.They we re clad black shirts to not expose themselves.One of the burglars turned om the torch as they did not want to knock onto things to not wake the family up.
They went around searching for valuable things but could not find anything else except for a vase/bot of them wanted to carry out carefully but it slipped through their fingers.The vase was shattered into pieces as It fell onto the ground.
It had alerted the whole family up.They woke up and quickly rushed to the scene.They saw nobody but the shattered vase.The mother was sad to see the vase shattered.The y decided to report it top the police.After a few days,the police managed to arrest the two burglars.

packed their bags hurriedly,exited that school have ended,they ran out of the school.Jane walked to the bus-stop to wait for the bus 261.She saw the bus and walked towards it.
When she boarded the bus,she was shocked to see many people.She had to stand.Luckily,the next stop was not far away.A man alighted ,leaving the seat empty.Jane took the seat and was now seating beside an old lady,next to the window.Jane was enjoying the cool breeze and scenery.She did not notice that a pregnant lady had boarded the bus.
Suddenly,there was jerk.It was then that Jane noticed the pregant's lady big tummy.She was holding on to the handrail,and seem to have a hard time balancing herself.
Jane gave up her seat to the pregnant lady.The pregnant lady felt grateful to Jane,she thanked her.

A wonderful day
The cheerful chirping of birds heralded a new day.The golden sun cast its warmth all around.My mother wake me up.We have our breakfast at the Coffee City.Then,we went to the library to borrow some books for my two little sister and me.When we finished borrowing,I went to the scanner to scan the b00k.My mother said that she wonder weather can she stay here for a week.In the afternoon,I do homework on the dining table as it is too hot to be in the room.I do it while watching the television.
At night,I went for a swim.My father went to help others tuition.When I finished swimming,My mother bring us to have our dinner while waiting for father to drive us back home.
It was a happy day for me.
Kyle's birthday
It was Kyle's birthday.Kyle was very happy as his mother had bought him a pair of skates as a present.Mother also warned Kyle against skating on his own until she bought him the safety gears.He must also have enough practise.However,Kyle refused to listen to his mother.

CAUGHT IN THE RAIN
One day,Jane was walking home from school.She was almost reaching her house when raindrops started to fall like thousand silver needles.Jane did not bring her umbrella.She started running very quickly as she did not want to be caught in the rain.
While running,she fell down,injuring her right knee.It was bleeding profusely.Jane started crying as it was very painful.Picking herself up,she limped home slowly.Once home,Jane's mother found out that her knee was injured.She took her a towel for Jane to dry herself and cleaned up her wounds.She was shivering so her mother make some hot coffee for her to drink.She started to cry in pain while her mother finally bandaged her knee.

I woke up late in the morning.My mother told me to take a bath.Then,she will bring me to the void deck to meet my cousin.We headed towards"The Coffee City"to eat.Me and my sister ordered two plates of fried rice to eat while my mother ordered fish noodle.My youngest sister makes me so angry that I felt like killing her.My cousin only ate a curry o' puff because she is going to eat when she goes to my grandmother's house.After eating ,we walked over the bridge to board the bus to my grandmother's house.We went up for a while and we came down to the see-saw to play.After that,we went up to take the ping-pong paddle and the ball.My cousin hit the ball and then I hit.When my aunt came,we pleaded her to bring us to her house.She had no choice but to promised us.
As the day turned into night,my aunt then brought us to her house.Her house is so big and beautiful.We started running about.Night falls,we went back home.

a toothache
I had a toothache this morning.0I think I might have had eaten too many candies.
I dreamt about what had happened.While I was playing woth my cubs,I hit my tooth on a rock as I had ran too fast.
I decided to visit the vet about my toothache.I did growl an dbite the vet because I knew that he would cure my toothache.the vet visited my cubs at the den.Then, he took out a needle from his kit.H einjected me and put me to sleep.After that, he took out the bad teeth from my enormous mouth.
Finally,the tooth was extracted and he showed it to me.I did not feel any pain thereafter.I was very happy.

A good news
Today,I am going for a piano class.I was tremendously excited as I did not learn anything about piano. The class was going to start at 4.30pm to5.00pm.I was excited that I am eagle to know what is going on next.
MY father had also bought me a table tennis racket yesterday.I played all night.I felt happy while with my sister.Oh,how I wish that I could bring to my school to play with my friends but the problem is that i must take good care of it and the ball must never be missing.

at the healthzone centre
Last Tuesday, my teacher,Miss Lin brought us to the Health zone centre by bus.She also have invited Ryan Wee's mother to join us for the trip.I did not know what to bring as I did not go to school because I had fallen ill.I had fever and soar throat.It was very hard for me to talk at that moment.I decided to call my friends and asked them what to bring.Luckily,I have my friends phone number if not I would be death as I would need to call my mother to bring the things that I needed again just for me.My friends told me that I need a healthy snack and a water bottle.
The day during the trip was a tiring and sultry day after school.We left our school at 1.30pm.Then,we climbed up the bus.I sat with my friend,Chloe and the other two of my friend sat behind us.Miss Lin then counted the number of pupils.We talked about lots of things while waiting for the bus to drive us there.Upon reaching,Miss Lin counted the number of pupils again to make sure that all of us are in the bus.I also knew that the Health zone centre was at the Singapore General Hospital.Miss Lin then told us to stand up and walked down the bus carefully.
After walking down the bus,we went to the museum.We went to listen to an uncle telling us why did we need to eat healthily.After that,we went to the Health zone centre.My friends were so afraid as we went into the lift without any teacher or parents.I was so frightened to see my friends screaming.After a while,the other half of my friend came up.Then,she asked us to lined up in twos.We then went to the Health zone centre.We sat on the floor listening to an auntie explaining how should we play the games.I was the first class that went in.Me and my partner,Chloe had a lot of fun doing the activities.For examples, we pulled the rope,look at the pyramid and pressed the different type of food which consist different level of nutrients.Before leaving,we went to the assemble area and ate all our food while Mrs Wee give us a packet of crackers.My friend,Jia Wei give me a tiny sweet.Both Mrs Wee and Jia Wei is so caring and loving towards us.When the bus arrived,we slowly climbed up the bus as we were all very tired.

when i grow up
One day,I felt bored and decided to think about my ambition. I thought for a long time in my room and decided that I want to be a policeman.
I thought being a policeman is very tough as there is a lot of training , such as marching. Marching is tough work as the policeman have to stand under the hot sun but I do not mind as it will straighten up my body and help me to keep fit. If I am going to be a policeman, I will need to wear smart,neat and tidy uniforms.
I also thought that a policeman would be walking around the neighbourhood nabbing thieves, keeping the country safe and patrolling the neighbourhood to make sure they are safe.
I also know that I have to study hard to become a good policeman. When I retire, I still want to help the old folks as I am a good policeman.

my relieved teacher
My relieved teacher has long hair with long legs.She has a computer and often bring in to class so that she do not need to write on the whiteboard.She only came into our class last month.
When she is teaching,she will give us some funny clues.Sometimes,she would also let us play games.for example, she would only let us play bingo when we have enough time.
I think that she have put in alot of effort teaching us and spending enough time playing with us but the problem is the class always make her shout.Do you know that I hate somebody who shouts.
I still think that being able to know a teacher like this, my life would goes very fun.I also knew that she have being trying her best to teach us.

chinatown
Last week,my teacher,Ms Lin brought us to Chinatown to enable us to know more about the Chinese culture.Before going,Ms Lin had reminded us to bring the things that we need but I forgot to bring umbrella.I decided to call my mother during recess.Ms Lin had also reminded us to put on our best behaviour during the journey.The time came and we went to have our lunch in the before going on the excursion.After that, we climb up the bus.We also have a leader,Mr How.He will introduce more about the Chinese culture to us.hat we were very lucky.I was so fortunate as there is air-con on the bus.I thought that it was going to be an exciting trip but where I go was the temple and the Chinese heritage tour.But going there, I have learnt that Salo lane was once lined with death houses.
The Chinese name for Chinatown('Niu Che Shui' literal translation means 'bullock carts' water) came about because when there was no water supply in Chinatown back early days of Singapore ,people living and working there relied on bullock carts for the transportation of water.
After a tiring day,I am still very happy as I learnt something new today.

an accident
Tuesday morning,our teacher,Ms Soh brought us to Bukit Timah hill for a hiking trip. They got on the bus carrying their cap, umbrella and water bottle. The children were very excited as they have never gone hiking before.
While the bus is on its way to the Bukit Timah hill, a van sped very fast and crash against the back of the bus.Ms Soh called the ambulance.Within minutes,a police car and ambulance arrived.Those who were injurt were sent to the hospital.The driver was seriously injurt.He lost consciousness after the impact.The police questioned Ms Soh.
The police have concluded that the driver was abiding the traffic rules that caused this accident

listening to one of his best friends song
Vikram was listening to the radio "Walking on Sunshine". He was at once reminded of John being a singer. John loved to sing "Walking on sunshine'' as that was his favourite song.
Vikram remembered the happy moments they shared together. They were best friends. Both of them enjoyed playing soccer. They also said that they wanted to be in the school team. Both of them wanted to be the two most outstanding players. vidram wanted to quit at first because John was no longer around. Then, he thought for a while. vikram decided to do his friend proud as they both wanted to be the most outstanding pupils. He missed how their parents had called them " The twins". He also remembered how John died.
John was riding on his bicycle on the road when he lost his balance and hit his head against something hard. He dead of excessive blood loss. When John died, Vikram was grief-stricken. He was very lonely. Vikram would look at the photos that they had taken together whenever he misses him.

Changi Airport
Last Saturday, my parents brought my sister and me to changi airport. On
the to the airport,I played some games with my sisters.
When clock strike twelve, my father then drove the car into the multi-story car park. We went to the departure hall,it was so quiet, that even a pin fell on the ground can be heard.
Then,we saw many shops at the side selling different item like candies,watches and fine jewellery. My mother brought us to kids world which was one of the popular shop in the airport. Kids World sell a wide assortment of education, entertaining toys like Fisher Price's miniature town house and Lego blocks. Apart from these,there are also dining facilities stalls such as McDonald, food court and restaurant.
We can see aeroplane at the viewing mall. The aeroplane is not moving. It is staying on the platform. After that, we have our supper at McDonald. We felt tired and went back home.

CA1 coming
CA1 is round the corner. A boy, John is primary six and he is taking his PSLE exam. John is nervous because he did not study for the exam. During the exam, he had cheat because he did know how to do a question.
At night, he could not get to sleep even though it was already very late. The next morning, while Mr tan was walking along the corridor ,he was thinking weather to give out the report books now or later. John walked to him and told his teacher, Mr Tan that he had cheated during the test. Mr Tan took out his report book and put a zero on it. Mr Tan scolded John and told him that cheating is not right.
When John received his report book, he knew that he had failed for his exam so he could have to retake it. Mr Tan told the whole class that John had cheated and this is a serious offence. There were tears dropping out from his eyes as he did not know how to inform his parents. John was embarrassed as he had to stand in front of the class. He also have to stay back after school to retake his exam until he had passed.
John learned a lesson which was not to cheat during exam but to try as hard as possible.

primary three
I am in primary three this year. Primary three is different from primary two because it is in the morning session. In the beginning, I always feel very sleepy because I have not get use to it yet. After a few weeks, I do not feel sleepy anymore as I try to sleep early in the night.
There is an additional subject which we need to study is science. I believe that if I study hard for this subject, I will be able to do well. Primary two's textbook is different from primary three's textbook, which the cover outside is much different. There is a lot of students with good grades in my class.
I think that it would not be easy for me to be the top few at the class again. If I want to do well, I would need to study hard.

visiting the library
My mother brought me to the library last Saturday. It was my first time visiting the library and I was very excited. I have never been there before.
When we reached the library, my mother brought me to the children' s section. It was very crowded. There were a lot of books on the shelves. It was fascinating. I saw some interesting book and took out to read while waiting for my mother. After a few hours, my mother came to me and told me that it was time to go home but I told my mother that I still want to read.
She showed me the library card and told me that I am able to borrow some books back home to read instead. My mother also explain to me the importance of this library card and I borrowed some of the interesting book back home to read.
It was an enjoyable day at the library.

at the beach
Last Friday, Ali invited his friends John, Mary and Tim to the beach. Ali's parents drove them there. When they reach there, they started playing beach ball. Ali was having an enjoyable time playing together with his friends. The air rang with their happy chatter.
While playing, John accidentally stepped on a seashell. His legs was full of bloods. Ali's parents called the ambulance and it arrives within five minutes. The paramedics took out a stretcher from the ambulance, carry John onto it and sent him to he hospital. The ambulance raced to the nearest hospital. At the hospital, John was treated at the out-patients departments. Shortly after, his leg was put in a cast. Then, he was sent to his ward.
John learned a lesson which was to be more careful in the future.

my hobbies
My hobby is swimming because it helps me to keep fit. I have been swimming for two years and my coach is Tyan. He can be very fierce if he wants to. I am swimming in Ang Mo Kio Swimming Complex. I normally goes swimming three times a week, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Swimming is a very relax sports but it can be very tough as well. Wednesday and Friday's training are very tough because the focus is on front crawl. Sunday's training is very relax as we normally do kicking and plunching practices. My parents enjoys swimming but they cannot swim because they cannot my youngest sister, Cherry sitting on the chair. Normally,my parents would sit on the benches and watch me swim. I hope that I can be a swimming coach when I grow up so that I can teach people how to swim.

during chinese new year
During the Chinese New Year holidays,my parents brought me to Sentosa and took alot of photo there. It was a bad day for me. I have went there since I was four years old. Sentosa was one of the well-known tourist sports in Singapore. Alot of tourist would normally go to Sentosa. I like to go there as I could take photos there but this year the flower was disgusting except for some of the flower. What a sick day for me!

While waiting at the taxi stand,she was posing in a bid to show off her jewellery. A man came to her and put a knife on her neck. He told her to give him all her jewellery,and threatened to kill her if she do not do so. In the end,she gave him all the jewellery.
She went to the police station and the police took down her statement. She was feeling terrible. She learnt a lesson,that is not to be too conceited.

Mrs Teo is a piano teacher. She has curly hair. All her students say that she is an interesting teacher because she plays the piano very well. Mrs Teo also teaches her class how to tell stories. a new subject coming in
I love science because I could learn more about trees,plants,bacteria and fungi.Science is also one of my interested subject.I am taking subject the first time.Miss Lin teaches us science.Learning science can be fun.It can only be fun when you go to the garden or the pond to check out more about living things and non living things.I would have science on Monday and Tuesday.The difficult things between science is comparing about ants and grass.The easiest way to do well in your science is to read more about science storybook.I hope to do well in all the subject especially science.
about my cca
Badminton is one of my favorite sports.I enjoy playing with my friends.During the cca orientation week, I have been promoted to join the badminton cca.I was overjoyed because I manage to get the right cca.It starts this coming Monday.This afternoon at 3.15,I went to the hall with my friends.At the hall,the coach did some warm-up with us.Her name was Mdm Lee.She taught me how to serve.We then started playing with our partner.She did play with us as well.I feel that I got the right cca because I still can cope on my swimming ,study and balance out my time.It will be better if everyone could be like me.

when it was my birthday
On 31st of March, it was my birthday.My auntie and my uncle came to my house in the afternoon to celebrate my birthday for me.I was very happy because my parents bought me a cake so that I could celebrate my birthday.My auntie and my uncle also bought me some presents.When I opened it up,it was a bag that I could put my drawing block in it.It was a beautiful bag that Iwas looking for so long.During the night, my parents took me to Bishan Park to have a feast.From that day onward,I took that bag to school whenever I had Art lesson.I kept looking forward to Art lesson so that I could bring my bag to school.

There was a boy, John who loves playing chess.He would play with his father every night before
he goes to sleep.One day, his father saw an advertisement in the newspaper.It was near John's
house.The community club has organised a chess competition.John's father deecided to let John
join the competition.He practised hard.During the first round of the competition, John
won.Myopponent was too strong so I lost a few rounds.A few of the people gathered around to

still won a silver medal.

A picnic by the pond
On a Saturday morning,Tom and his sister, Jane felt bored.Tom thought of an interesting idea.He suggested that they should go to the nearby pond to catch tadpoles.They brought sandwiches, empty jars, drinks, nets and food.They put everything in a food basket and headed to the nearby pond.When they reached the pond, they took out their nets and jars and started to catch the tadpoles.They caught many tadpoles and put them in the jars.After catching the tadpoles, they felt hungry.They took out the food in the food basket and started to eat what their mother had prepared for them.They had an enjoyable time eating the delicious food.After eating the food,they felt full and headed back home immediately.

helping an old lady
Last Friday, I was doing my homework when my mother asked me to run an errand.She said
that she had run out of rice so I went to the supermarket to buy her a packet of rice.While I was
walking home,I saw an unconscious old lady.She was walking on the pavement when she fainted
suddenly.
I quickly ran to the nearest public telephone to call for the ambulance.The ambulance arrived
within five minutes.
The paramedics immediately took out the stretcher and carried the old lady into the
ambulance.She was sent to the hospital.
At the hospital,the doctor examined her.I quickly

a morning at the coffeeeshop
Last Friday morning,my family woke up early in the morning.My father decided to bring the whole family to have our breakfast at the nearby coffeshop.It was very crowded at the coffeeshop.There was a long queue at the stall selling steamed buns It is very popular among the residents in our neighbourhood.There were also stalls selling fried noodles,chicken porridge,"roti-prata",western food and chicken rice.I did not know what to choose because there were so many choices of delicious food.I finally chose the chicken rice of the fragant rice.My father bought everyone a glass of fresh soya bean milk because it is a healthy drink.At every stall,there was a long queue of people lining up to buy their food.There was some assistants taking orders and clearing the tables.We had a hearty time during breakfast time.After that,we went back home ro watch television.

At three o' clock,the school bell rang.It was time for recess.All the children were very excited because they were hungry.There was a long queue formed outside the drink stall.Tim approached John who was queueing up to buy a drink.Tim asked John if he could help him to buy a cup of Milo.John refused to help Tim to buy the drink.Just then,their teacher,Miss Lee walked past.She praised John for telling tom that cutting queue is inconsiderate.Tim felt ashamed of himself and apologized to John.He walked to the last person in the line to queue for his drink himself.Tim learnt a lesson which was not to cut queue.

One day,a dog called Browny was feeling hungry.It had not eaten for one day.While Browny was walking,it saw a cow and a horse in the manger.It asked,''Do you have any food for me because I have not eaten for one day.'' ''No,we do not have food for you but we have grass.''said the cow.The dog replied,''It is ok,I can eat grass.''Browny went in and ate some grass.He was full.He thanked the cow and horse for letting him to eat the grass.From that day onwards,the dog became friends with the cow and horse.
Our sports day
Last Monday, it was our school sports day.It was held at the Bishan stadium.The contestants were very nervous.The teacher official's hand was poised in the mid-air getting ready to fire the pistol.when the teacher fired the pistol,the contestants started runing as fast as they could to the finishing line.There were some parents among the spectators who stood up to cheer for their children.The stadium and spectator stands were adorned with streamers,banners and balloons.Along the track,there were some red cross members who were smartly-dressed in uniforms.There was a boy joining the high jump competition.He was jumping as high as he could.There was also a javelin throwing competition at the field.A boy was throwing the javelin as high as he could.In the high jump competition,there was an unconscious contestant who had fainted after jumping across the pole.One of the red cross members saw it and quickly asked two fo her members to get the stretcher.They carried the unconscious contestant and put on the stretcher and brought him to the sick bay.After three hours,the events finished.The teacher official invited the principal up on stage to give away the prizes.I was very excited because I won a silver medal in the long jump competition.I had a wonderful day at the sports day.

Last Tuesday during recess, Mary, Jane and Tom decided to play hide-and -seek.Mary ran to a huge tree and hid behind it.While hiding, she heard buzzing sounds.
She looked up at the top of the tree and saw a beehive.It was hanging by a thich branch.Mary was very frightened and did not know what to do.She thought of a good idea and went to find her two friends.
After that,they ran to the principal's office to inform the principal.Mary brought her principal to the place where she found the beehive.When her principal saw it,she quickly telephoned the police.The police arrived with a zookeeper.They reached the school within fifteen minutes' time.The zookeeper removed the beeehive from the tree and brought it away.The police praised Mary for alerting them or else it will be dangerous if the bees hurt the rest of the children.

One sunny afternoon, my mother brought me to a Jumble Sale at Ang Mo Kio Central.It was very crowded there.There were stalls selling clothes, bags, books and household items.I saw a hello kitty bag which cost ten dollars.It was very beatiful .I asked my mother to buy it for me.After we bought a bag, I opened it and saw a parrot brooch in it.We did not pay for the brooch.I ran back to the shop that I bought the bag from and gave it back to the sales person.She said that I could keep the brooch as I was honest.After that, we went back home.

A reckless boy
Last Monday, Tim and John were going home from school.They had to cross an overhead bridge before they could get to their home.John refused to follow him.He was too lazy to climb up the stairs.
Instead, John dashed across the road when suddenly a speeeding car appeared!It could not stop in time and knocked down John.The driver saw John lying omn the road unconscious.
Tim was shocked to see John lying on the road.He quickly informed John's parents about John's accident.The driver quickly sent John to the hospital.the doctor said that John had a broken leg.He had to be hospitalized for a month.After the accident,he learnt his lesson and he will not dash across the road again.

at the bus interchange
Last Saturday, my mother and I were going to visit our grandma.We went to the Ang Mo Kio interchange to board the bus.There were long queues lining at the bus stands.In the queue, a boy was totally asborbed in his football magazine.There were three housewives lugging bagsful of groceries at the queue too.They were chatting happily.There was a newspaper vendor selling newspaper.The newspaper vendor was sitting cross-legged and listening to the radio.There was a small kioskselling a wide array of tidbits.When the bus was arriving,we saw a frustrated man kicking the coin - changing machine because it had just "eaten" up the frustrated man's money.After that, we boarded the bus and started our journey to grandma house.When we reached there,I saw grandma talking on the phone happily.We spent thirty minutes there.After that,we went back home happily.
At the library
Last weekend, my family and I went to the National libraryto borrow some books for my sister and I.When we reach there, I saw piles of book on the shelves.There were many children in the library.Some of them were reading quietly.One of the girls was putting the book back to the shelf .Some of the children were lining up waiting for their turn to stamp a date on the they wanted to borrow .They were also very quiet.The librarian said that I should return the book within three weeks' time or I will have fine to pay.After that,we went back home happily.

There was a dog called, Browny, who had lost its owner. On a cold rainy morning, Browny was watching a butcher outside his shop. Brownie wanted to steal a meat. A camping trip
My CCA instructor decided to bring me and the scouts to go for a camping trip last week. When we reached our destination, the sky was gloomy. Dark clouds gathered around the sky. We went about our tasks. Two boys, Tom and Tim went to the stream to fetch a pail of water.Jack went to pitch up the tents. The rest of us prepared a meal of instant noodles for ourselves.After eating, we would help those pupils who had not eaten. We helped them to do their things so that they would have their food as well. After we had finished eating, the rain came and we went inside our tents to rest. After the camping trip, we learnt how to pitch tents, fetch water from streams, start a fire and prepare meals for ourselves.
Kenny the bully
Kenny is a big and tall boy. He was always rude and unfriendly to both his teacher and friends. During recess one day, he decided to bully a younger student, John. John was afraid of him. Some of the students saw it and quickly ran to tell their form teacher, M.r.Nib. M.r.Nib quickly stopped them from fighting. Kenny was sent into the principal's office. During assembly, Kenny was caned in front of the whole school. After the punishment. Kenny did not dare to bully anyone again because he felt ashamed of himself when he was caned in front of the whole school. He regretted doing that.

Bicycle ride
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, Jane and Mary decided to go to East Coast park to rent two bicycles. They went to the bicycle kiosk to rent two bicycles.
They ride their bicycle along the bicycle track. Two men were fishing by the sea. There were some people resting under the hut.
A few minutes later, Mary's bicycle tyre was flat. Jane asked Mary to sit behind her back of the seat and pull her bicycle. Jane will ride the bicycle to the bicycle kiosk.

The worm
There was two hens called Lucy hen and Mary hen. One day, Lucy hen was finding some worms for breakfast. While Lucy was walking, she found a juicy worm.
Lucy wanted to picked it up when she saw her best friend, Mary. Lucy said," I found it first." But Mary disagreed with her and Mary said, " I saw it first." Mary and Lucy kept urguing.
They ended up fighting with each other. The juicy worm took the chance to escape.
By the time they stopped fighting, they realised that the worm had gone. They said that they should have shared the worm. They apologised to each other and forgave each other. They had nothing to eat for breakfast that morning and went home hungrily.

An inconsiderate act
Ali went to his friend's house one Sunday. His friend's mother gave him two bananas. On the back home, Ali ate his banana. He threw the banana skins on the pavement eventhough a dustbin was beside him.
Out of the blue, he saw a boy, Tom, riding his skateboard over the banana skins. The skateboard lost control. Tom crashed into a lamppost and his forehead was bleeding heavily.
Ali quickly took Tom to the nearbuy clinic for treatment. Ali apologised to Tom for throwingthe banana skins on the pavement. Tom forgave Ali and told him to be more considerate in future.
Ali learnt a lesson and will not throw anything on the pavement again.
